What's the manufacturing process ?
It was extracted in 1:20 hot water (95 ℃) for 3 hours at a time and continuously for 3 times. The combined water extract was decompressed and concentrated to a certain volume. Then, it was mixed with 3 times volume of 95% ethanol, standing for 10-12 hours, and then centrifuged. Finally, 75% ethanol was added for repeated washing to precipitate polysaccharides. The precipitate is a crude polysaccharide mixed with protein, pigment, oligosaccharides, and other small molecular impurities, which are usually purified.
